I've seen them about 9 or 10 times, starting with supporting Maiden back in 1990. I'm just bored of the usual set list.

The point was they are playing 3 cover versions when they have a massive back catalogue, which they could choose from.

For them not to include 3 cover versions in the set list.

Interesting take on the album, and I'm pretty sure it's the first negative review I've seen of the record. But a well written review none the less.

I personally like their style, and they are fantastic live. Totally different style to Anthrax, but it's certainly not the weird tour line up I've seen. That probably went to Love/Hate and Toranaga (back in 1990).

Volbeat are touring the UK next month and 4 of the 6 dates are sold out. They pretty much sold out the last UK tour as well. They are certainly not unheard of in the UK.

The one and only listen I've had of White Devil Armory left me unimpressed. Definitely didn't grab me the same way the last few records have. I'll give it a few more spins before forming a solid opinion.

Whether anyone likes it or not, Joey is a hired gun. He's not integral to the band (in Scott and Charlie's minds), even if Anthrax do need him to actually sell records and gigs. Let's see what happens next, in Episode 1,561 of the Anthrax soap opera.
