Minneman has left the band on kind terms and he and Mohammed will be making a side project. http://www.necrophagist.com They have a sick new drummer and are recording the new album. This will be the first mostly collaborative writing process. Mohammed wrote 99% of the stuff on previous albums...

I was very surprised, myself. But I heard he was just taking a little time off from his family (what musician PURPOSEFULLY does that to be on a TOURBUS?!).

Haha! Forgot to mention, Jack Owen was one of the guitarists on the bus who played in Santolla's place! :kickass: He just happened to be on the bus with them for a few weeks for a little vacation.

The right circumstances and promoter couldve got them in. My friends were dissapointed about him not being with Obituary.

A sad day. Someone somewhere mentioned something about possible guest soloing by Ralph on the new album, though...

I am so looking forward to this. It was a damn shame that the Ralph line-up didn't come to Canada - and I do hope he does some guest solos on the LP - but I still am anticipating this greatly...
