What is the best $100 guitar out there:Smug:?

I was looking into the Kramer Striker (korean made) series used. ANy thoughts on the Kramer series?

yes, they are out there... you just gotta keep an eye out and be ready. esp in this economy. unfortunately alotta people will be making difficult decisions (rent vs guitar). and even more will be letting things go... as in that guitar they've always wanted to learn but never got around to.

about a month ago on craigslist i found an epiphone les paul custom with the zakk wylde emg set, graphite nut, set up with low action and leather soft case for $250! i didnt need another LP, but couldnt pass up that deal. so just be patient and happy hunting!

The old Kramer Focus series seem to be okay. I just bought a Kramer Focus 4000 w/original Floyd Rose for $125 (yes, its the 'v', my wife just rolled her eyes when she saw it)

Solid wood body, neck is supposely made by ESP, put together in Japan.

Can't tell you how it sounds though as I immediately ripped it apart so I could replace its home-grown flame job with a satin black finish and swap in some EMGs for the lone Vandenberg pu.

Anyway...something like that can be had for cheap and can be upgraded fairly easily to end up w/a semi-decent axe. couldn't say the same for some new cheapo ibanez, etc as you'd have to upgrade the pickups, neck, AND body.

i once scored an ESP H-200 custom from a pawn shop for $100...

+1 to saying fuck the kramers, and just scour the area for a deal

edit: i also got a jackson PS-4 for $150 from the same shop...did a full setup and swapped the pickups a while later, and the thing SMOKES

I hear ya dude. The price differences between US and Europe are ridiculous... A new SM57 costs on ebay 89$ which is 295 zloty (Polish currency). And how much does a new SM57 cost here? 500zl! Where is the justice?? WHERE???

Haha! Same here! I just downloaded 20GB of DBZ Btw. did you knew that a new series came out? Dragonball Kai, well it's not new par excellence, it's DBZ with refreshed graphics, new sounds and rerecorded dialogs. It's also shortend to main storyline without sidestory fills. So far 2 episodes came out, can't wait for more!

the cool thing about the agiles is that they use real wood on most of their models... like ash for 535 $ mahogany for low prices like 300 $ not that shitty basswood for 1 K
