I'm looking for the latest The Hellacopters disc, I heard three tracks off of it.
These guys sound like Thin Lizzy these days. I know if has been a slow porgression, but they finally rock!!!!!!!

They've ALWAYS rocked Sixx!! They've not released a bad disc yet in my book. The new one is much more produced so it may be easier for more people to get into them now. My favorite is "High Visablilty".

I'll be honest, I didn't like their last record. This new disc grabbed me & I wanna get the damn thing...

That's cool. You had better grab a copy of "By The Grace Of God" as soon as you can (I assume that's the disc you are talking about) before it goes out of print here in the US. Their albums are always a year or two old before they get released here in the States... SUX!! The new one is on Liquor & Poker. The same thing always happenes with the Backyard Babies and The Wildhearts, we are always at least an album (sometimes 2) behind here in the States... if their stuff even GETS released here.

I got Danzig's Circle of Snakes today... where is Pabla? lol ... anyways so far im not into this album.. i guess I would need to listen to it more... i miss Danzig of old.. Danzig from the first 3 or 4 albums... I was debating where I should of gotten this one or When the Gods Kill.. now im thinking i should of Gods Kill instead.. but ill give it more of a listen ... doesnt sound like Danzig of old.. Danzig needs the old line up back or at the very least John Christ with Rick Rubin producing.. i like 3 maybe 4 songs so far...

Green,
I have on order two Hellacopters disc coming in to my friend's shop on Weds. of this coming week. I can't wait to get them...

Very cool Sixx! I see you also picked up some Gluecifer discs. If you are into checking out some other Scandinavian rock bands give these a try:

Backyard Babies (my favorite along with the Hellacopters)
Hardcore Superstars
Hydromatics
The Deadbeats
Flaming Sideburns
The Peepshows

Hope you like the Hellacopters discs you ordered. What albums are there?

hahaha dont ever take anything I say to personally ... I'm to Fullashit for that:loco:

hahahah it's cool, if you haven't noticed, so am I sometimes ;)

Sixx, The Wretched Spawn isn't bad at all. But with Cannibal Corpse, I just have to be in the "right mood" to listen to them. You like The Donnas? My brother loves them, but man I can't stand them :yuk: ... I'd rather listen to Slayer...

Sixx, what do you think of that new Social D disc? It didn't do much for me but I need to give it another listen or 2.

You know that a "decent" record. The tracks that stand out for me are
Hwy 101, Don't Take me for Granted, Footprints...Nickles & Dimes.
I haven't really soaked in the entire record, yet, bt I will listen to this some more.
I have been listening to Silvertide, The Donnas(Spend the Night), Gluecifer,
The Datsuns & now The Hellacopters & Social Distortion...
Not very Metal isn it? Ohhh well, it's fresh & it's a detour of sorts.
I go through those phases, with listening to blues stuff too...

What I picked up in the past week!
Judas Priest-Sad Wings Of Destiny-A classic that I had before but some jerk stole my cd!
A Perfect Circle-Thirteenth Step-Decent but Mer De Noms was a lot better!
Cradle Of Filth-Nyphetamine-Good but not nearly as good as Vempire or Midian!

The Priest & Cradle discs rule...
I did like the first Circle disc, but I can't stand Maynard...

Sounds like you've got the Rock N Roll bug Sixx. I love every band you mentioned there.

Spend The Night was one of my favorite albums from 2002, however the new one is a let down. If you don't have American Teenage RnR Machine you should check that one out also.

I can't get enough of the Silvertide disc!! Have been spinning that thing for weeks now.
