It seems you were in the right. They're just bowing down to the label and doing what they're told... the DVD is basically promotion for their newer albums. I can't believe the Opeth board-ers actually tried to use Mikael's statement AGAINST you! He pretty much admitted that he didn't like the idea and he was just going along with label plans.
