1349

I like them... i have their first 2 albums... Beyond the Apocalypse is a awesome album and Frost is very good as always... I'll definetly be looking to get Hellfire... most people hear one song from any of the albums and do not bother to listen to a whole album such as Beyond the Apolcalypse... songs on that album especially noteworthy are:

Singer of Strange Songs
Blood is the Mortar
Internal Winter
The Blade (quite different pace from the other songs and very spooky funeral sounding)

Anyways give that album a chance instead of just listening to one song...

I remember listening to one song from the band and not liking it at all because the song sounded the same for way too long and it therefore bored me. You guys think 1349 deserve another chance or are they really just boring?

Edit: nvm unfaithfully metalhead just gave me the answer, thanks!

He plays a mean bass for Dimmu Borgir and does clean vocals for that band. He is also the current vocalist for Arcturus, Lamented Souls and Code. However, his greatest work was with Borknagar in which he handled bass and growl/clean vox.

I think Their music is far from boring.

When I listen to sculptor of flesh i get this rush esp. when you listen to the lyrics...

"Will you grieve for them?

Will the lack of their bleating cacophony
strike a note within?" - such rage in his voice; I love it!

Interesting I haven't listened to Borknagar or Arcturus yet cause I feel they will spoil me so yea. They sound good.
