My wife smoked a boat load of weed in your name on Turkey Day :hotjump:

Funny...I did the same exact thing on Turkey Day. I also drank assloads of wine and champagne. Rocked my guitar in the morning. I'm about to rock it right now.

I just saw the movie Walk the Line and I think it's a great film. I'm far from no Johnny Cash but I could relate alot to that dude.

Uggh, I need to get back to a regular diet. I've been starving myself and drinking to no avail lately and then after a day or two, I'll have a grand feast fit for a king washing it down with wine.

The first part of that post doesn't make sense. As for the second part, gee, I don't know how I could have misinterpreted the meaning of what you said. Maybe it's because a normal person with any degree of compassion would assume you were thankful that Freddie Mercury, one of the greatest frontmen ever, had died.

Just because Freddy died, it doesn't mean that their works are beyond reproach. I thought he was a great frontman, entertainer and performer, but as with other bands with dead members, their legend seems to have extended to albums that frankly weren't all that good.

I really, really enjoy their early to mid periods, but the latter platters, with their frequent power ballads composed, it would seem, with the sole purpose of appearing on TV ads really grated. Of course, it could be that my tastes had moved on, ut oddly I still regard tracks like "7 seas of rye" and "killer queen" as masterpieces.

I do miss Mr Mercury, and wish that he hadn't died. I choose to remember him (and Queen) for thir good stuff, rather than paint a convenient wash over those albums that just weren't worthy fof their name.

...but hey, that doesn't mean your opinions are wrong, this is just mine.
