I noticed in another thread that some of you are looking for a better china sample, so I have recorded some cymbal hits for you guys to make samples from. They might not be everyones cup of tea, but I find them very usable!
I used 2 apex small diaphragm condenser mics for left / right overheads and a sen. e609 for room mic.
I recorded 6 hits for each sample: 2 soft, 2 medium, and 2 hard.
I figured I would just upload the tracks, and let you guys make samples yourself so you can decide volume, processing, and panning of the tracks on the sample.
Just to give you an Idea of how they sound:
china sample hit
bell sample hit
and without further ado, heres the clips ( in aiff format):
loh clip
room mic clip
roh clip
enjoy, hope that some of you will find use for these!
