Hopefully this thread is a little different than usual...

Basically, name your favorite song from each album, name the runner-up, and then your least favorite from the album

*Even if you love EVERY track on the album, pick your least-cherished or something...

And yes, some of my least favorites I still love. "Requiem" and "Madrigal" were just kinda cheap picks, since there's the least to them, since I couldn't find any songs that to me are weak. "Black Rose Immortal" is great, but too many random parts are stuck together. "Moonlapse Vertigo" is another awesome track... but the singing of the first acoustic part is kinda off and bothers me a bit. "The Funeral Portrait" is the only song off Blackwater Park that hasn't really caught my interest yet. "Wreath" has got to be their worst song... some parts are worthy, but on the whole the song is very low quality for Opeth's standards. "Death Whispered a Lullaby" I truly LOVE... before, I would've definitely picked "Hope Leaves" but I've grown a strong like for this song so I just went with this one... but I honestly think every song on Damnation is amazing.

Yes, Requiem is a bloody cheap pick since it's an amazing song.

Sure, it's a really cool instrumental... especially if you count the parts that ended up being tacked on with "The Apostle in Triumph" by mistake... but I think all of the songs on Orchid are really solid. "Silhouette" is the other instrumental on there... but for once, that's a PIANO interlude instead of an acoustic guitar one, and a really strange one at that. "Requiem" has the least meat on its bones, even if it's a great instrumental.

And ditto "Madrigal." "Prologue" is also quite short and simple, but the mood on there is more effective, so I had to pick that one... there simply isn't a weak song on that album.

Then there's Blackwater Park and Deliverance, which have "Patterns in the Ivy" and "For Absent Friends"... but both albums have songs that I don't like as much ("The Funeral Portrait" and "Wreath"), so I don't have to pick those as my least favorites for being the simplest.

With MAYH I honestly don't think there are any weak tracks, so I just picked Madrigal since it has the "least" to it. It still works well for what it is. Same for Damnation...the one I picked is still good, it's just not quite as distinctive to me, for some reason I'm not really sure of.

I hated putting Patterns In The Ivy last in my BWP selections; it's such a great song. Actually, that applies to all my picks for the 'least favorite' slot. T_T And it was hard to choose between Bleak and Blackwater Park for my favorite on that album.
