Unfortunaut is ringing out the year in indiemetal style by playing their final show of '06 at the Empty Bottle in Chicago on Dec 19th. Having just released their debut ep 'Of Here & Now,' they're riding the wave of the new heavy/loud Chicago sound. Simultaneously racing forward while looking back, memories of the original 120 Minutes, Headbangers Ball, and 10 band metal matinees come to mind. Their sound is based in the common musical past that brought them together and is unwound and bullied back with the energy of their individual influences into crushing, melodic, intense eight minute epics.
