Liquid Horizon have a new album coming in 2011 called The Script of Life. One track to sample in myspace. I quite like it. They list fellow Germans Vanden Plas as a major influence and that's quite fair as you can hear it in the music. The vocals are very good too in that song Crown of Creation. If you like Vanden Plas you'll probably like this.

Images of Eden - new video Tribal Scars from their 2011 album Rebuilding The Ruins. Melodic metal here, the song doesn't do much for me but it's ok.

Hellfighter - New UK thrash metal. Basically ex members of Xentrix the old band. Music is decent but vox a bit shit. 4 tracks to try.

Dreamshade - Top quality melodic death with some core elements. The vocals are a bit too much to take being almost tortured rasps but the music is amazingly catchy. Riffing tone reminds me of Jester Race era In Flames.

Destruction - Day of Reckoning. Unholy face melting thrash! Like a vicious rabid dog cut loose to wreak havoc once again.

Bodom - Was it Worth it? I'm sorry but Alexi's vocals are completely atrocious. Does he try on purpose to sound as obnoxious as possible? This song caters to the 10 year old Bodom fans out there it seems. You can still hear the talent buried somewhere deep beneath though. I will have to listen to this album through gritted teeth cause I almost cannot stand the vocals for even a second.

Axenstar - Aftermath. New video of title track from new album. Cool tune.

Agincourt - British cult NWOBHM metal. Sounds like a mix between Maiden and Saxon with average production. Album called Angel of Mons is out in March. There is a free song on their site to d/l and it's quite cool and worth hearing if you like classic Maiden galloping metal. Video is cheap but a cool tune.

Titans Eve - Heavy mid paced power/thrash. Vocals not great but music pounds well enough.

Solo covers from album from the guitarist of Galneryus. Amazing covers but with different vocals. Other songs on YT too.

Aclla - Landscape Revolution. God I've nevrer heard of these samba boys before. New heavy power metal from Brazil. Pounds well. Something like Mystic Prophecy but not quite at that level but getting close. More song from them on YT.

Factory of Dreams - Melotronical - Portugese epic gothic prog metal. The cover art looks very nice. The music is OK with massive production. If you like it BIG sounding then FoD is for you. Whole album is on YT.

Are you bored yet? Not to worry...here's Toxic Smile. Prog rockers I've never heard of with a new album on Progressive Promotions records. Not bad stuff vocals sound odd at first.

the EndTimes - Lies to Children - rather odd band. Atmospheric prog metal they call it. Not sure what to make of it. Sounds a bit shit but still intriguing for some reason. All songs have one word titles as you'll see on YT. Whole album on YT in case this weirdness catches your ear.

Excellence - Against the Odds. Brazillian melodic metal with a slight prog edge. The album is available for free from the band. Sounds not bad if a bit second division. Still worth hearing for free. http://www.4shared.com/file/4VFj7A7N/Excellence_-_2010_-_Against_th.html

Overmaker - Angelmaker - Just heavy bloody metal. You like regular classic metal? Then you'll probably like this.

Soul of Steel - Destiny. Complete Italian metallic cheese factory. Not a disaster but but second rate for sure.
