anyone been to any metal shows lately? I think the last one I went to was Neurosis. I've been to numerous country music concerts (two at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo) because the girl Im dating is a huge country music love. I can tolerate it. Better than rap anyway.

Church of Misery is coming to Houston in June. I'm dragging her to that one. Should be fun!

Sounds about right. Concerts in Paris have become borderline intolerable, only shit venues will host metal tours these days.

I still try to cut the odd festival. Right now I'm in Brussels at the Thousand Lost Civilisations 4-day fest. Big showdown tonight courtesy of a 90 minutes Darkspace show. Prior to that I'm excited to see Pseudogod, Urfaust and Volahn.

Hardly ever go to shows anymore. Saw Kiss a few weeks ago, but only because the tickets were Christmas presents, and left early because it was a work night.

I did, however, buy Knotfest tickets and I'm pretty excited to see Gojira, Behemoth, and Volbeat all in one place. Used to hate Volbeat because of that one song they played on the radio all the time. Love em now.

Darkspace just totally floored me. What an insane gig, super tight, confident, yet beautiful and intoxicating at once. Those guys love their baby and it shows in every aspect of their performance

I might need to re-install R-Type!!

I did go, and these also played: At the gates, Ross the Boss (probably the best gig of the festival believe it or not), Taake, Malakhim, Rotting Christ, Necrophobic, Attic.... and more shit. Didn't see Attic or Rotting Christ but the rest was gr8
