No matter the reason, greater exposure for RC is a good thing.

I don't think RC is the new SOT, maybe the old Opeth Off-topic board from some years ago. When that split happened SOT got boring, and SOT2 went stupid real fast.

I think SOT sucked mainly because it was the home of so many Opeth fans, that is; young, ignorant, close-minded, cock-sure, illitare and stupid kids. That's pretty natural for a forum of band who seems to introduce so many new people into metal I guess.
