Glens Falls, NY, July 8, 2005 – Upstate New York’s massive summer blockbuster will kick off next weekend on July 16 featuring some of the biggest names in metal. The festival features performances from world renowned acts including OZZFEST 2005 performers Mudvayne, Killswitch Engage, Shadows Fall, As I Lay Dying and Swedish metal acts In Flames and Soilwork. Also performing at the festival is Hatebreed, featuring Jamey Jasta, the host of MTV2’s Headbangers Ball. Aggressive Music Festival will be Hatebreed’s only summer performance. Opening the show are Roadrunner Records’ recent signing Trivium, and A Dozen Furies.

Aggressive Music Festival will also feature an autograph tent sponsored by FYE. Any album purchased at the festival will be signed by the band members, granting all fans the opportunity to meet the performers. "The FYE autograph tent is continuing with the vision Ted Etoll and I had when planning this event. We want to bring underground metal to the masses in the highest quality setting for the fans, and the autograph tent brings the fans and artists face to face," says Jamey Jasta.

This is upstate New York’s only summer event featuring such large metal and hardcore acts. Recent releases by Mudvayne and As I Lay Dying currently reside on the top 200 Billboard charts. Hatebreed was nominated in 2004 for best hard rock performance, while Killswitch Engage and Shadows Fall are regarded as pioneers of new trends in metal, and In Flames is one of the most popular and widely renowned Swedish metal bands of all time.

This event is not to be missed. Doors open at 12 noon and the show begins at 3PM. Tickets for Aggressive Music Festival are still on sale via Ticketmaster and at the Civic Center box office (1 Civic Center Plaza, Glens Falls).

GOD FORBID TO STAND IN FOR SOILWORK AT 2ND ANNUAL AGGRESSIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL

Glens Falls, NY, July 11, 2005 – New Jersey’s God Forbid will be taking the place of Soilwork at the 2nd Annual Aggressive Music Festival, set to take place on Saturday, July 16 at the Glens Falls Civic Center. The band will be joining an already much-anticipated lineup including Mudvayne, Hatebreed, Killswitch Engage, Shadows Fall, As I Lay Dying, Trivium and Swedish metal legend In Flames.

God Forbid will grace the stage from 4:10-4:35PM, taking the time slot Soilwork was set to perform in. The band will also be participating in the FYE autograph booth, where fans will have the opportunity to get their purchased albums signed by the bands. Day of show interview requests may also be granted.

The band promised a crowd of over 300 fans at Saratoga Winners in Latham, NY on Friday night that they’d “see all of [the fans] next weekend.” While it is unfortunate that Soilwork will not be participating in Aggressive Music Festival, the appearance of as dynamic a band as God Forbid is highly anticipated among fans and attendees of the summer blockbuster.

This event is not to be missed. Doors open at 12 noon and the show begins at 3PM. Tickets for Aggressive Music Festival are still on sale via Ticketmaster and at the Civic Center box office (1 Civic Center Plaza, Glens Falls).
