There are freebies and there are FREEBIES, hehe! Look at what Seini brought today: http://bedroomproducersblog.com/2013/07/16/drummica-sennheiser

It's PC & Mac and it contains over 13 000 samples! I haven't tested it. It's based on Kontakt and comes with the free Kontakt Player. It sounds too good to be true, tbh.

Very interesting to be able to change the mics on each kit pieces. Too bad the Kick is tuned so high.

I gave it a little spin in a song I'm writing at the moment, I replaced the kick though.. Here's a short clip, sorry about the bad mix :p

Thanks for the heads up guys, some really great sounds in both the clips posted so far.

Onqel I'm listening to your soundcloud and loving your compositions! What are you using for your orchestral sounds?

Symphobia and LA Scoring strings

That was worth the effort I guess. Took all day to download and then get an update for Kontakt 5 so my Mac didn't get Kernal Panics.
It's pretty good. If you want lower tuned kick you can go into the group editor and adjust the tuning for each mic. It sounds cool to keep the snare top at 0 and snare bottom at -6.
On the options tab you can set the individual outs.

You can't drag & drop the beats from the player onto your arrangement but they're easily found in the content library where you can import them.

@Trevoire520 I needed to use a download manager to get it. I use DownloadThemAll! extension for Firefox. With that you can control speed and pause/resume.
