We're taking care of the legacy of NO BROS and their four legendary LPs. For the first time, the remastered albums are released on CD worldwide.Founded in 1974 by guitarist Klaus Schubert, today NO BROS are the best known and at the same time most underrated hard rock band of Austria. How can it be that hits like "Be My Friend", "Heavy Metal Party" or "Hey You" in the early 80s were played on radio and television, but the final international breakthrough never wanted to come?
NO BROS always played powerful hard rock! If you listen to the energetic live album "Heavy Metal Party" there is no question that more and more fans were convinced to the band through the tours with MOTÖRHEAD, SAXON, KROKUS etc.
The HEAVY METAL PARTY - Re-release contains 5 bonus tracks: Three songs are rare live-recorded versions of 1981, an instrumental highlight and as a special song the newly produced title track from the legendary SCHUBERT IN ROCK version with BIFF BYFORD of SAXON. (Incl. A 24-page booklet with many photos and liner notes !!)

We are convinced that the status of NO BROS will change with the present re-release, or better said must change!! "Classic Rock at its best!"

After "Heavy Metal Party” we’ll also re-release the 2nd NO BROS album "Ready For The Action". This work is will also be available on CD and as a download for the first time ever worldwide.
With the first song the band is already showing that in 1982 the center of the European hard rock world was clearly in Austria. The style of NO BROS lies between RAINBOW and DEEP PURPLE - and they played in the same league.
The the six-minute title track shows a force that immediately strikes into the brain of every listener and this energy permeates the entire album. A Special reference shall also made to the songs "Hey You" and the mega-single "Be My Friend". Thanks to radio and TV presence of the band the ballad climbed on top in the Austro-charts.
Inspired by the re-release Klaus Schubert and Freddy Gigele found together again in 2014 for new studio recordings. The result: 3 brand new tracks that will be published on this re-release for the first time worldwide. "Find Myself" can certainly be seen as a tribute to "Be My Friend" and "A Night In Touch City" and "Back Again" are classic NO BROS hammers! (KLAUS SCHUBERT knows only one God named RITCHIE BLACKMORE and that's a really good thing !!)
Finally, there's also a SCHUBERT IN ROCK version of the title track with Marc Storace of Krokus. (Incl. A 24-page booklet with many photos and liner notes !!)

The re-release of the two classics „Ready For The Action“ and „Heavy Metal Party“ by Karthago Records was just a foretaste, because Klaus Schubert (SCHUBERT IN ROCK, SCHUBERT etc.) and Freddy Gigele (singer of the first hour) are almost in their original line-up. „Legends Of The Eighties“ is dedicated to the own legend as well as the Deep Purple sound of that age and one of the first duels between a Hammond organ and a guitar. The strings and keys are rough-handled until they smoke. By hitting the high notes in the song „Back Again“ NO BROS prove to be back in business stronger than ever.

Songs like „Devil With An Angel's Face“ and the potential hit „Written In Fire“ sound so light-footed like only IAN GILLAN could have been with his solo works. With „Dance Of The Black Tattoo“ everyone, who listens to MAGNUM and ROUGH SILK in sacred hours, gets down to his knees in awe and enjoys these celestial tones and absolutely outstanding fantastic drums of Bernie Welz (PAUL MCCARTNEY, SCHUBERT IN ROCK, DON AIREY, JOE LYNN TURNER, STEVE LUKATHER etc).

Neither inventive songs with the organ like „Song Number Nine“ nor the beautifully melodic and first-class hard rock in „Runaway Girl“ nor the outstanding „A Night In Touch City“ must be missing. Since a ballad should be on a big hard rock album as well, „Find Myself“ delivers this aspect.
For the cherry on top the album includes the melancholic „Dark Chamber“ which is on the upcoming promotional single „Legends Of The Eighties“.
