I like it...i'd love some details also. I think it is a little too high endy also though, but the chugs are nice man...It sounds like maybe you Eqd the highs too hevaily or your tone knob on your boost (if you used one) is not dialed in just right.
I can't remember the eq settings and can't check it either, since I got blessed with some virus that totally fucked up my HD and motherboard uke:... Lost all my recordings in progress. Right now I'm on a comp slower than a piece of butter in a not so hot frying pan. Gotta order new components now, so my passion is on hiatus for a while. I did use a TS9 though, with Drive at 0, Level at 12 o'clock and Tone at MAX I do remember that I had the pre gain on the amp on 2.
Yeah ive been hearing alot about that pedal on this forum... I thought the maxon 808 was the shiot but alot of people also like the ts9, I think the ts9 is probably the better value... But I dunno i didnt have either pedal when I had my first 5150. I traded my XXX for another 5150 but then I traded right back the next day because I felt like I wasnt trying hard enough with the XXX and id like to just run the 2 amps together in the future With a ts9 before the a/b box
