53d Grammys - Best Metal ....

that shit always goes to the least deserving nominee...who also happen to usually be the most least deserving bands in the 1st place

i've completely stopped paying attention to wins those "awards"...it's really on par with a high school popularity poll

Emmure should have won

Edit : Added trollface to reduce the chance of some poor soul actually taking my post seriously and going ape shit

Wait, the grammys people are the same people responsible for picking a Jethro Tull album over ...And Justice For All for the metal category? Oh boy

I wonder how and who actually picks the winners. Considering it's a basically a pop music festival.

"Hey you ever heard of any of these people/groups? ......"
"nope"
"Ok, eeny meeny miny moe... oh wait I've seen that name on a t shirt before"

thats actually how they vote ^^^^ legitly lmfao

KORN - Shit.
Lamb Of God - Shit.
Slayer - Shit.
Iron Maiden - Shit.

Megadeth should have won. And am I the only one who is outright fucking offended that KORN was even nominated. WHAT THE FUCK!

Ok, Korn I agree with, but the rest.....man.....

I thought you were cool cuz you lived in PA but now...I dont even know you..... :err:

Just kidding man. :kickass:

No love for Lamb, Slayer or Maiden though?!?!

LOG hasn't been out as long, and aren't as big an act as the others IMO - they are cool, but they have more dues to pay before they trump any of the others.
Slayer sucks anymore, and I think Kerry King is a complete ass hat.
Iron Maiden already has the notoriety.

Thought this was Megadeth's time to shine, but then again... these awards really don't mean much. Just so long as it was ANYONE but Korn, I can live with it. The fact that Korn was nominated thereby invalidates ANY credibility the Grammy committee ever had.
