6505 questions

hey guys i won a 6505 but want to downsize to a 2x12 cab with vintage 30's so i found this

is this suitable and secondly does anybody know of a 3 or more button footswitch compatable with the 6505 so i can control crunch etc cheers

yeah that's a great cab for the money!
Use a marshall footswitch they work great.

^ Do marshalls have the same type connector as the Peavey?

if it's stereo I don't think you got any problem

I don't believe there is any way to control crunch or bright with a footswitch. The footswitch only controls channel changes and effects loop on and off.

Yeah, it's only on the 6505+ that the crunch is footswitchable, but the upside is that you can use any TRS footswitch to control the 6505

You can use a mono switch too, to switch channels. Just pull the plug out to half way on the remote input. It's a cheap fix in a pinch.
