70s fantasy-styled hardrock recommendations

Solstice is indeed one of the finest true doom metal bands ever. Slow, melancholic, epic, powerful, not a pinch of stoner vibe. :headbang:

NP: Place Of Skulls - 'Silver Cord Breaks'

Wow, I forgot While Heaven Wept. Tom Phillips (current singer from reformed Solstice) is a genius. "Of empires forlorn" is one of the best epic doom albums in the last decade.

Tsorl, if you don´t have problems with spanish sung, listen what WYvern said in a previous post: Rata Blanca - "Magos, espadas y rosas" and "Guerrero del arco iris" too. An argentinian Rainbow wannabe but fantastic. In Rainbow style check also Giuntini Project "III" with Tony Martin (ex Black Sabbath) on vocals.
