7170 test = short. Please Listen

Hey guys, I just started farting around with the 7170, and I'm not too sure on the sound, I'm really thinking I need a DI box now....

But anywho, I would like to get some feedback, it's a small clip (for some reason SOnar makes 4 min wavs...)

But give me an idea where I'm going wrong, and no, "By playing guitar.." isn't a constructive critisism.

sounds alright, i suppose.

what are you doing for cab emulation? sounds like theres a bit of low end distortion on there, try putting some sort of tube screamer emulator on before the 7170!

I've got the TSS before it, and for emulation I'm using boogex with the "s-preshigh" impulse.

Sounds good man - real mean sounding - i'd like to hear it quad tracked - with a duller sounding impulse on the 2 xtra gtr's.
