Home to a couple of good bands, however, they recently re-released Katatonia's "Dance of December Souls" and changed the artwork without Katatonia's knowledge, much less their permission. Anders Nyström of the band actually first found out about this from a thread I made in their official forum upon discovering it.

It needn't be clarified further what a load of fucking bullshit this is, ESPECIALLY as the album was already widely available before this re-release. I urge you all to not buy any releases on this label; I know I won't from this day forward.

Now I'm confused, I don't know if I want to hear Anthrax or Katatonia right now. Either way, that label is pretty gay for doing such a thing.

What greedy assholes, and changing the cover makes it look like even more of a cheap reissue. Even Katatonia completists will avoid this at all costs, and I hope Anders gets it pulled off the market.

One reason seems to be that the original source of the artwork gets lost; dunno how common that is though, could also be done in order to make it easier for the collectors
