A Dan Swanö Project- I NEED YOUR HELP! Yes, YOURS!

... for Ophthalamia's Via Dolorosa, it's produced by Dan but in "Ophthalamia Studios"? Were these nutcases in Unisound?

I've got Novembre's debut, this one, now Ghostorm all done in October 1994? Busy month, mmm?

Unanimated's "Ancient God of Evil" was recorded and mized at Unisound in August 1994. It was produced by the band, but engineered by Dan.

Hypocrisy - Rest In Pain - it says 'audio restoration on the demos by Dan Swano'

it comes free with the 10 years of chaod and confusion cd, its got 2 demos and some videos, limited to 10,000 copies or something.
anyway its been restored in 2001 i'd say although it doesnt say when. the only number on it is: NB 631-2 and its nuclear blast.
 
Hey Jim, here's a gem for you...

Darkified - A Dance On the Grave with 8 songs: 1-5 from ''Dark'' demo ('91), & 6-8 from ''Sleep Forever'' 7-inch EP ('92). These were both recorded in Gorysound by Swano, and he also did keyboards and some guitar solos.
The EP CD was released in 1995.
 
Let's not forget about the two albums by the hardrock/AOR band DREAMHUNTER that Dan has produced/engineered. The first one was called Kingdom Come , but I forget the name of the second one--it was just finished last year. I believe he recorded both of them at The Sanctuary...
 
The Swedish cult zine "Hymen" once had a list with everything Dan´s ever recorded, and that´s a lot. Don´t ask me how to get it. The writer Anders plays in a pretty famous Metal band.... damn ! i can´t remember their name.

Well, I didn't see 'Curse Of The Demon - Tribute To Mercyful Fate' on the list. If it's there already then I suck. :)

Anyhow, Swano does a great rendition of "Melissa" (my favourite Fate tune oddly enough). Don't know if we're counting tribute album's but I didn't see it and I figured I'd throw it up here just in case. :)

ps. Woops, forgot to add other information. Well, I don't actually own the album, I just know about it. So I don't have any other information other than the title. : \

Two excellent releases. In the vein of Dissection, but with interesting guitar work and are a bit faster)

I don't have these two on me, but the official Marduk page says that these two were recorded at Hellspawn Studios (same with Opus Nocturne) which I think is just another name for Unisound)

I didnt see it, but perhaps i just passed it up...but dont forget to include dan swanos cover of melissa on the mercyful fate tribute...i dont have he cd itself, so i cant give anymore info than that...good luck!
