Yes, good things DO happen, and there are plenty of good people out there. There is too much focus on the negative, sadly. Possibly because people being kind and decent rarely is newsworthy. But the following two people did make news for outstanding acts of kindness. It's too bad that good deeds have to be extreme to get attention, but at least it doesn't go completely unnoticed.
