Hi guys,

Created this strange thing yesterday. Some kind of thrash, but with a taste of downtempo deathcore perhaps, I dunno.

Would appreciate your opinions on the mix. And should I loose the solo?

Song is really interesting. Really digging it. As far as the mix, 2 things stood out to me. The guitars sound very muffled and lacking definition, and the drums lack punch. Everything sounds really compressed and is lacking dynamics. But, like I said, dig the song and you should keep the solo in my opinion!

Yeah, a bit too much compression and limiter on the master... And I can hear your point on the guitars - indeed a bit muffled. They have no EQ whatsoever so I'll go back to the mix and add a high-pass filter and elevate the mid/highs a bit. Drums are always a hassle to me. So darn difficult to find the right levels.
