a new planet????

yeah pluto's orbit reminds me of the clone of the clone in michael keaton's Multiplicity, or the little robot that couldn't in ...batteries not included

there's always even been arguments about whether pluto was a planet or not. how sad would it be to have no planet pluto? :(

i think i generally fall on the side of Pluto not being a planet, and therefore, neither is this. i'm nostalgic for my MVEMJSUNP schooling, but, you know, orbiting asteroids do not planets make.

Also, the bizarre orbit of Pluto with its moon, Charon, raises other questions about its qualifications as a planet. They actually swong through space like a bola, rotating on a imaginary axis between them as opposed to the moons of Jupiter or Earth, which rotate as if the planet they orbit were stationary.

the slippery slope of gay marriage has led to people wanting to marry their cousins, their children, and even their dogs! and also to classifying asynchronously orbiting chunks of rock and ice as planets! WHERE ARE SOCIETY'S STANDARDS NOWADAYS?!
