A question about gift cards.

So I was just cleaning my room, and through out my ways of cleaning, I ran into multiple birthday and Christmas cards. What does one do with such items? I mean, I don't want to throw them away, because it just feels wrong. But, they are so useless to me, and take up too much room. So what do I do with them? I threw them away, I just want to know for future reference.

I keep them in kind of a stack in my room, and some I just throw out. It's not like some handmade fucking shit they got you, it's a card that cost 3 bucks at most, throw 'em out.

I'm always home on occasions for receiving them, and I let my parents do with them as the please. So they put them up somewhere on display for a couple weeks them throw them in the recycle.
