This has been bugging me for quite a while now.

Does anybody know if the song has any connection to the novel "Warlock" by Wilbur Smith??

it is a novel that takes place in ancient Egypt and I found a strong connection between the book and the song.

it's just that this song obviously talks about a betrayel by a loved one, not unlike in the book, where the princess kills her own sister and becomes the wife of the false pharoah.

also, earlier in the book (before her betrayle), Taita (the protagonist at that point of the story) refers to her as "moon of all my nights" as she sits on the bank of the river Nile.

and speaking of the river, the song does mention a river, perhaps referring to the great Nile depicted in the novel.

could it be that the song is in fact inspired by this book?

God, I would be so happy if it was :loco:
