Loss of any person is terrible but I think the worst is when you loose your child. It's just kind of "unnatural" that they leave before the parents do. It's probably the worst thing to wake up and realize that there will never be that screaming and running around again.
As a mother or father you feel that you are the one who should protect your child and that you are the one who should bring it safe through some situations. I always feel so sorry for the parents who loose their kids through some sick criminal. For example the ones who lost their son and daughter in Germany just a few days ago.

OK you're right but imagine if a little child loses her parents in a car accident f.e. and she just can't handle it cos she does not even understand though she saw everything.. And she is lucky if she has got relatives, in other case she must go to the well-known facility for kids without parents..
We can't compare it anyway..All is bad.

the worst thing here is that all twenty kiddos were from the same village...imagine:a whole generation down the drain, and how life can go on in this place.it's superficially tragical, you cant even think of a constuctive comment.its just a big why, even the americans killed in iraq were less.

She can. Children are surprisingly strong sometimes. Though it's bad to go to an orphanage, so children with caring relatives are lucky indeed.

Otherwise I agree with Eos, it's much worse to lose your child than to lose your parents.

Exclusively for Mehdi :)

Last year in Hungary a mother shot her two daughters and young son (and herself) because the father slept around. She took revenge.

Well, actually, she really managed to ruin his life.

you guys could go on for ages like this, pull a sympathetic face and that. but it wont change a thing to what happened heh.
