A statement from the band re Frank wouldn't go astray

SOWN was good but not as good as it gets credit for. ATL is still the bomb even thoufght its a little dated. WCFYA is a really good rock album. Stomp an V8 have some really well written songs and som so so. And because I'm old STD is still rocking to me. Now SOU4EAH needed to be beefed up. POT was a great album when they needed it.

I hope Frank does what he wants I think he really wants to grow musically. His singing has improved greatly since the screaming of just NFL back in the day.

Anthrax are the godfathers of Thrash for me and for many others and that's what they can do best. they shouldn't write weak boring rock-ballads just to make johnnyCzech and 151 people (worldwide) more happy. Anthrax have been the leaders of Thrash-metal in the 80's.

Amen!
You don´t know how happy I´m feeling now, when you just suggested Anthrax wrote Bare, Black Lodge and Safe Home just to make ME more happy!!!! :hotjump:

lol, too bad, ellefson just joined soulfly recently, havent heard their new cd so i cant tell if this is a good or bad thing, but man the album 3 sucked major horse penis.

i could agree w/ thrashard on the "anthrax should write rock ballad stuff" i mean that stuff ok like safehome and only, but i mean, id rather be hearing the thrash

Did he? Kinda interesting. I didn´t know they have a new cd out. I rather didn´t listen to 3 album

The new Soulfly record is actually really good. I was surprised - there's a load of really experimental stuff on it but somehow it all works.

Am I the only one here that is surprised Ellefson is in Soulfly - isn't Max's crew just a little too nu-styles for Dave, with the one note riffs and all. I just don't see Ellefson fitting in to that scene.

Dave in Soulfly? Oh brother. No offense to Soulfly but, Dave, what are you doing? Well back to the original discussion at hand, yeah, it would kick ass to here what Frankie has to say about all this. Hopefully he ends up doing something on his own. Poor freaking anthrax, what happened? Things used to be so different and now things seem so high strung. The shit must have really hit the fan for Charlie to kick his nephew, who just happened to an awesome bass player, singer, stage presence, out of the band. Hopefully this will all pass and he will be back and they can release another albulm that is equal to WCFYA and everyone dies happy. That's enough out of me, it's late. o_O

got agree with thrashard to a certain extent. riff wise i feel that the riffs arnt of the same quality as they used to be from when spitz was there. Not a big fan of stomp and vol 8. Some better songs on wcfya. Frank, spitz and belladonna were also my fav members. Frank please come back!!!!!!!!
