I'm generally weary of "super groups" as they usually don't live up to the expectations they might create (and it seems more like a marketing gimmick anyway, who the hell calls themselves a super group). I hadn't heard Twilight before but judging by these MySpace samples it sounds pretty much like the sum of the parts to me (though I'm only familiar with Wrest and Malefic's projects and don't know the other members).

Not really sure how Aaron fits into this really...

I'm not familiar with any of the members' other projects (not a HUGE bm fan), but listening to the samples I must say I'm very interested to hear what Aaron will do with the band. And yeah I've heard he was a huge BM fan as well. Looking forward to hearing the album.

I'm certainly curious. I'm hoping for good things...besides Isis, Turner has also been running one of the most diverse labels (Hydra Head) around so I expect good things.

I'm not going to lie, when I read "aaron turner" i thought "isn't that the guy from Staind"

twilight is pretty good tho , although i cant imagine turners type of vocal ( if he uses his typical shout/growl) being used in black metal , actually wait, will he sing?

I had heard a few months ago that the project was going to be Turner, Azentrius and Wrest, so I guess it makes sense to just carry on Twilight with Turner. Malefic had very little to do with Twilight anyway. He just mailed in some vocal tracks, and one song. Hildolf also just mailed in vocal tracks. Azentrius and Imperial did most of the writing for the album.

I can definitely hear how Turner will fit into this. There are some similarities to Isis on the last song on Twilight, and on some of the new Nachtmystium songs from the upcoming split.
