My lecturer at college keeps going on about those 1-knob compressors...
I'd kill to try these plugins out. No access to my computer at home at the minute though.

Once you get these demos do you think you could do an un-comped/highest comp level comparison clip for me on a snare drum?

Only had a quick play around with them.....nothing really to write home about, not bad but I didn't feel like I was getting anything I didn't already have.

I'd say worth a demo - you will never know otherwise....

maybe its because I'm used to URS CSP but having one plugin that only does a presence boost or 2 different styles of compression seems like a bit of a waste of a plugin slot.

I'm sure I could get pretty similar EQ results with the CSP, and I'm pretty sure the compressor could get as close as I'd want anyway.....

I know the original hardware units are great for smashing the hell out of room mics in the limiting mode. I imagine the plugins would be good for that as well.
