Reading Mikaels post mentioning curfews in the "european tour" thread, i thought it would be interesting to hear more about this topic (preferably also from the bands experiences)

personally, i have "only" been able to compare the situation in austria (my home country), germany and the UK, where i went twice to see a band play. i must say, that i will not go to the UK anymore for gigs. i think its terrible - bouncers everywhere, shouting rudely at you if you don't move your ass out quickly enough, very strict curfews causing bands to cut down their setlist (esp. if there are more than one support act)....

i would be interested to hear from the band (and of course other people who have experiences concerning this),

a) if they are at all concerned by such issues?
b) if in countries with strict curfews the start time for a gig couldn't simply be preponed (started earlier)?
c) which countries are the most "laid back" and which are strictest concerning rules and regulations?

thanks in advance for all replies
