Hello Guys, Been a awhile since I've posted here. I wanted to share with you a new track off Abysmal Dawns upcoming record. This is just 1 of 10 songs, keep in mind this is more of a groovy song. There is plenty of crushing fast BPM blast beats and double bass etc in the other songs.

I tracked the drums, edited, re-amped, mixed and mastered this album.

How the hell you get guitar so vibey? Do you mike like 2 meters from cab?
I don't get how you can get such roomy, but punchy and clear tone.

I actually re-amped using a 57 and 421 about an inch away from the speaker grill. During mix down I got rid of the 421 and only used the 57. That vibe you are hearing is a 15% or so wet level reverb to add width while guitars are playing on their own. It's an old school technique I have adopted.
