Powerage, along with High Voltage (the Aussie High Voltage, not the overseas High Voltage that is actually TNT coz TNT rules) are the 2 weakest Bon Scott era albums I think. But they are still good.

The first AC/DC album is actually pretty bad. If they'd released that overseas they would have gone nowhere. "TNT" is still one of the best Australian rock albums ever, followed by "Highway to Hell" and "Back in Black".

there certainly are some dodgey lyrics but also some all up classics too..AC/DC have written some of the best tongue in cheek commentary ever Big Balls is masterfully funny and then things tracks like The Jack, Whole Lotta Rosie and Aint No fun Waiting Round to Be A Millionaire are just as legendary.

Total respect for the early stuff. Dont take it too seriously, just enjoy it.Even though they stuck pretty close to their formula all the way thru AC/DC certainly live up to the legends status.

Running Wild is a good example, especially in comparison to AC/DC. They haven't changed much either in 20 years.
