Aside from the strange title, what do you all think of this record? I was a huge Accept fan prior to it's release but was severely disappointed with this one.
And it wasn't because of Reece's vocals which are quite strong. The songwriting was simply sub-par for a band of Accept's capabilities. I tried and tried to make this one work, but it never did.

With that said, it does contain two of the bands best ever tracks (IMO):Generation Clash and XTC (too bad the rest of the record bites).

Not a bad album if you keep in mind it's not really an Accept record, I think there are some pretty cool songs on ETH but I don't listen to it very often anyway... I would rate it 3,5/5 or something like this.
I still prefer that one over the later "reunion albums" :)

I don't think I've ever owned it, but I remember hearing some songs from a friend way back around the time it was released, and I wasn't very impressed. I thought their songwriting was sub-par on Russian Roulette also.

I like the record. I had it on tape when it first came out and found it quite worthy to be purchased as a CD as well about a year ago. Sure, some of the songs are weak but if you don't consider it an Accept album, it's a decent listening experience.

Cant say i have heard this album, but there was one of their songs that i really liked called princes of the dawn (i think thats what it was called anyway) but cant remember which album this track was from.

crystal dawn

I need to get a copy of that on CD...
Generation Clash was a good one, I went to see WASP on the Healess Children Tour & they were opening, I didn't care for catching a cover band so skipped them...
I'm kicking myself, it was probably a decent set... Shortly after that they spit for good & the record tanked...

It's not a bad album. Like what Psychonaut said though - It's not really an Accept album
