Wow. You may remember the Iraqi band Acrassicauda, from the documentary Heavy Metal in Baghdad. They moved to the US, and are recording their debut album. They made their US live debut on Jan. 21st in Brooklyn, NY (their new home).
This is their first single, Garden of Stones. Although they do remind me of Metallica a bit (in the beginning), the song evolves into a really cool middle-eastern flavored section towards the end. Production and mixing were done by Alex Skolnick and Josh Wilbur.
