hello guys my bandmate have a 5string esp ltb bass with active pickups.
the question is can i find somewhere rechargeable battery with a recharger or not? is out there any recharger? i have search but i can't find anything.. thanks in advance!

EMG doesn't recommend rechargeable batteries because as far as I understand they tend to loose their charge fairly quickly. Your bandmate would have to recharge the battery before every band practice, recording or gig just to be sure the battery has enough charge.

Are batteries seriously that big of an issue? I have 5 active basses (4 are 18v) and 2 active guitars and I buy one box of procells a year and change batteries before I hear issues.
I understand burning through them on pedals but active instruments just aren't that thirsty.

Leaving them plugged, they are VERY thirsty.

I used to do that many years ago (when neither my teachers :bah: nor I knew better) and my tone was distorted awfulness at least 50% of the time because of it.

Sure, but that's operator error. Even still a 9v can last a month in a plugged in guitar where as the same battery will be dead in a day if you leave a pedal plugged in.

This. Can we have a new rule that says you can't complain about gear if the issue is caused by you being too stupid to use it properly? This isn't the Hubble or an AxeFX or something where you could legitimately say "this is too complicated for me, I don't want to worry about it" - these are fucking batteries.
