The usual suspects are active and passive Radial aswell as Countryman , any others worth notice? Is there any preference in di boxes if you have active pickups vs passive pickups?
Thanks guys!

The Radial J48 DI I owned was lacking in the low end but sounded nice otherwise. I'd seriously take a look at the Rupert Neve RNDI if it's within your budget, seems to sound killer.

Generally speaking, for active pickups you want a passive DI and for passive pickups, you want an active DI.

I've been really liking the Little Labs Redeye 3D Phantom, which is a passive DI, an active DI, a reamp box and a line splitter in one, but it is not the cheapest option.

Aside from this one, I've only heard and read good things about the Countryman 85 and the various Palmer DIs.
