Addictive Drums

So I heard through the grapevine that Addictive Drums has a non-expiring demo. Apparently, the only thing that the "demo" lacks is a few snare/cymbal samples. Seeing as to how I have several, I guess that won't be an issue. It's downloading now, so I guess I will let everyone know just exactly what the deal is. Assuming some of you don't know already that is. But, if you some of know anything regarding this, let me know.

The demo not only lacks 'a few snare/cymbal samples'. The demo only has a single snare to choose from, one kick, one hat, and one crash. No toms, rides, chinas, etc., and no other snares/kicks to choose from.

I *personally* think the snare that the demo comes with sucks horribly. At least I miserably failed trying to sound even remotely good.

It's still pretty much the best free drum software that you'll find, tho.

I like the cymbals and hi-hats in AD, but I'm really not a fan of the kicks, snares or toms, I just replace them haha

does not do br00tz well, the kicks are quite boomy you have to do some pretty harsh EQing to get them sounding metal

I've had good results with blending the samples in AD with other samples to get them sounding nice.
I got pretty close to a ABR kick with the first stock kick and a clicky kick i had.
Just made one the lowend and the other the attack.
Worked.
