I'm not blown away by how AD sounds, but I have to say it FEELS pretty good when playing with an electric kit. Before I had slate 4.0, it was my preferred jamkit.

I guess for this genre of music its ok. Sounds like your typical death metal kit, robotic with a snare that has no body and a kick with too much click, which I'm not sure I would never use as a reference to a desirable drum tone

I like the AD snare for punk/whenever-you-need-a-snare-that's-really-bright-and-present. I'll use SD for the rest and blend the snares, but I like the way it places itself in the mix.
