I actually thought that the song GIVING IN wasnt that bad... I wouldnt go out and buy that cd for it........but for music that is regularly on the radio(at least that song was) I didnt think that it was that bad.....katatoniaesque.....I dont think so....but I havnt heard the new CD yet.......but I doubt that they sound like Katatonia....noone sounds like Katatonia in my opinion.......NOONE

I've listened to that... THING ... three times [against my will] and nearly got sick. And there's nothing reminding of Katatonia [beside the use of "real" instrument and a lot of guitars]...

Indeed. While I can concede that it was started out of genuine care of the band, I think it is quite misplaced here. I have heard the album, or at least the bits and pieces that I could tolerate, but the rest of it just sounded like contrived recycled crap. And after reading about how the members have fun by ripping off porno mags about 50+ year old women from grocery stores(courtesy of blabbermouth) what respect I did have was successfully flushed away.

just listen to the track "just lift me up" and say there are no katatonia similarities... probably you can´t or you´re insane

Oh my....that actually made me laugh. Although there was one adema song I liked...but that was about 2-3 years ago. I thought the majority of their stuff was crappy even at 15. Katatonia's musical ability is infinitely greater.
