NEEDLEYE ALBUM ‘ODE TO NONE’ COMPLETED WITH AT THE GATES/THE HAUNTED MAN

London metal behemoth Needleye have completed the recording of their forthcoming opus ‘Ode To None’ and recruited the talents of drummer Adrian Erlandsson in the process. Arguably one of the finest drummers in the world, Adrian is certainly the only living drummer who can single handedly replace a drum machine. Adrian was the drummer on At The Gates’ seminal ‘Slaughter of the Soul’ album and was also a founding member of The Haunted.

Recorded at Hateswitch Inc. in London’s Camden Town, ‘Ode To None’ is ten tracks of furious, genre defying metal that redefines the Needleye sound and is set to establish them within the metal elite. ‘Ode To None’ also features guest vocals from ex-Matter vocalist and Bowlrider bassist Dom Lawson, who lends his scathing vocal chords to the blistering ‘Cut Myself (A New Hole To Fuck)’. ‘Ode To None’ also features the skills of multi-talented instrumentalist Matt Hart of ‘Tear My Strings’ who adds a unique classical finale to the unrelenting fury of ‘This Machine’ to the proceedings with his 250-year old, hand built viola, which is worth a reported £20,000.

No strangers to the turmoil of the rock n’ roll game, Needleye is the brainchild of Duncan Wilkinson (vocals) and also includes Mike Fletcher and James Howard on guitars. With a recent reshuffle under their belts, the band will soon announce the recruitment of a new bassist, and then the Needleye beast will be complete.
