I got a survey from the Republican National Committee! According to this, I am "among a select group of Republicans" selected for this survey!!

My answers "will be used to develop a BLUEPRINT for the Republican Party for the next 10 years."

Ed Gillespie, in the accompanying letter, breathlessly warns me of the threat posed by "ultra liberal groups like People for the American Way and The Feminist Majority."

in the four page letter they use the word "liberal" about ten times.

"Make no mistake -- without your answers to the REPUBLICAN PARTY CENSUS DOCUMENT questions...our leadership will not know how you and other Republicans at the grassroots level or our Party feel about the critical issues facing our nation."

this letter is so filled with crap that I almost feel as though I should go wash my hands clean of filth.

Mindspell, I think you'd be surprised at the level of balance among my coworkers, they seem pretty evenly split between kerry and bush. I think, clearly, that without 9/11 to beat us over the head with, Bush would be far further behind than he is; alternatively, dissatisfaction with Bush hasn't been effectively capitalized on by Kerry.

This is truly Kerry's election to win or lose, barring some terrorist thing.

my membership in the ACLU apparently put me on every single far-left mailing list in existence, so i get all those rabid screeds against conservatives. it's somewhat annoying how I receive unwanted membership cards, fully printed with my name, in the mail every month from organizations like The Kim Jong-Il Fan Club, Abort-O-Rama, Blame America First, etc.
