FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK (sorry for the language) Gustaf is a MONSTER. Liking him more and more as time goes by. This time, time went by too much since we hadn't recorded anything in many months but it looks like it's about to change now. The album might get finished within a few weeks if karma is not a fucking slut to me.

Enjoy!

Oh and.. this is the first time I ask anything like this but if you guys wouldn't mind sharing this to your friends on FaceBook or in whatever way, it would be nice if you could do it. Think it's time to push this out... I've been so passive on the "marketing".

How come he's back? Who writes the vocals? Were the vocal lines for all songs finished before you split up? New place?

Sounds very promising I must say. Digging the growls. The clean thing near the end might need something more though.

Hey dude. Completely off topic question, but how are you coloring your tracks like that in reaper?! I can't figure it out for the life of me.. What are your apperance settings set to?

blown mind confirmed! :D

really enjoying your videos, maybe when everything is
done you can upload these (in hires maybe) and share the download.
i'd really like to store this and as youtube is a son of a bitch i'd like to have it on my HDD

cheers
S.

( www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIIzxeBUqug Gustaf total sounds like a more angry version of him)

Holy tits, I'd think it's Gustaf if I didn't know it wasn't!

Guess he has more time now and he's more up for it than previously, I don't know. As long as we finish the remaining tracks, I'll be content. He writes all the vocals, and he writes damn good ones. Yeah this place is at where I live, in the basement.

Glad you like it. The clean thing.. hmm yea, but need what? It's not processed yet other than just quick high pass and comp just FYI. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

First you have to right click the track and set a color for it. Then in the Appearance settings you need to check a box that says something like "Color media item's background to track color". Everything is then colored accordingly to your track color.

So, when you insert a new track, does it change the color of all of your tracks to a bunch of random colors? Or do the colors stay the same?

Yeah, I know it might just need some more compression. But I was also imagining some growls underneath it or something to beef it up a bit. But it's kind of hard to to hear it thoroughly, it's a busy part too so I'm not sure if adding more will make it any better. Just brainstorming.

Cool, sounds like a good vocalist to me. Will you be pressing a CD or making it a digital DL only kind of thing?

When you insert a new track it gets the default color which is grey but maybe you can change that too. But anyway, so once you insert the tracks and change their colors to what you want - they stay that way. For example, I have a group of tracks that are red at the top which are my drum tracks. I can save those as a template and recall them at any time I want in any project, with color and all.

I can't imagine any other type of vocalist on this project now that he has already flavoured it :) I would love to make it a physical CD but I'm not sure if that's what people even want these days. Seems like it's dying off. I hate physical CDs myself for example. I usually buy stuff digitally and stuff it on my hard drive and phone/mp3 player/whatever.

Cool thanks! For some reason, it's still recoloring everything when I insert a new track.. Would you be willing to print screen your appearance preferences or something?

Don't underestimate the power of a pressed cd,
In my area at least, people love to buy the cd and feel special because they got the whole package etc :)

Yeah, totally man. In the last few weeks I've bought a handful of them myself. You can always rip them into your computer or upod or podcorn machine etc. lol. And I'd really rather have higher quality than mp3 tbh...but i'd also be willing to pay for it.

If you need an artist for a cover, feel free to shoot me a pm Erkan, I would love to have a go at it. Until I get a label asking for things like this I dont charge, either. I've done the art for Felix Neumann's project for any reference you might need. Anyway no biggie, later.

Looking forward to this album being ready and finished dude!

So so glad to hear things are underway again
