Dude, I know more teenagers that know about NPR and listen to it than adults who do it.
As a matter of fact, when I was in college, there was this little group of freshmen that ONLY talked about whatever was on NPR all day long. It got as obnoxious as it could!
No. The music NPR plays can quite eclectic. Though I don't listen to it, my wife who does has never indicated she heard something Metal. I suspect someone who works there, who had a chance to vote, is an Agalloch fan. I don't suspect it means much of anything.
