Serberus is an aggressive melodic death metal band from Denver Colorado. True US melodic death, not the in flames influenced metalcore that has been passing for melodic death in the states. We recently signed to crash/pavement records (http://www.crash-inc.com) and our full lenght will be out May 21. check us out at http://www.serberus.com or at http://www.mp3.com/serberus. If you are in the Colorado area, there is a huge death fest at the ogden theater on March 29th with Serberus, Corpsevomit (chicago), Cephalic carnage (relapse), and excommunion (empire/WWIII) among others. True melodic death? From the US? melodic death come from Europe, so theres no 'true' melodic death from the states. And i dunno if i understand you, but are you saying that In Flames is not true melodic death? If thats right, then i say u got a pretty big view of yourselves from the start.
 
whoa, settle down dude. I'm a huge in flames fan, and I don't mean 'true' like that. When i said in flames influenced metalcore, i mean all the US bands that usually get toted as US melodic death metal, like shadows fall, god forbid, darkest hour, etc. We have a more European sound. that's all i meant. don't get your panties in a bunch. I didn't say were better than in flames, or whatever, or that we inveted the stlye. we dont have any of the hardcore influences that most US bands of this style do. were more melodic, more staightahead metal, and more aggressive than most of those bands.

we don't use any distortion on the vocals. just your usual compression and eq shit. both guys double their vocals to emphasize some parts too. they just belt it out. thanks for the compliments though! spread the word.

Ah thanx dude, yea im gunna get a digitech vocal 200 and a shure mic today. I kinda wana do a industrial/death metal sound, Cuz we just started up. Thanx for the info and i will spread it around you guys are good as shit. And I know what you mean about inflames influenced bands here in the states, they think that they are gods (yet i still believe slayer/pantera and other true american bands could rape them in solos and singing but thats just me :D) Thanx dude.
