right,
i'v had my motu 8 pre linked up to my shitter comp for a while now as my PC is being fixed by Kev. but i now need to use my Tascam US-122L as that has just been fixed, but when i boot up cubase and its loading all the little gadgets at the bottem of that blue box it gets to

''initializing: Motu Audio Asio''

and then cubase crashes (that 'send error report' thing)

now why is this happening? i'v totaly uninstalled my Motu and installed the Tascam... all the drivers are set to my Tascam in the control panel.

why is this? i want to be mixing stuff lol

any advice wud be awsome!
cheers

Theres got to be a folder to remove the startup drivers just like a time I had problems when Nuendo died when loading my preferences.

I removed the preferences from the folder storing them and presto.

Probably no harm in trying to reinstall Cubase.

cheers guys...
i've been fiddling for a while, and i got it working lol

all i did was unplug my tascam interface while it was starting up... and as it loaded it searched for the gay audio drivers that came with the comp, then i just switched it over once cubase had opened.

and now its fine :S although it wants to test my drivers everytime i boot now haha i'll sort that tomoz lol
strange stuff..
