Ahola - Tug Of War

Ahola is a Finnish dude. He was in that Northern Kings project and probably in other bands as well. This is his solo band's new album. The single Still Metal is awesome and rocks. If I had a beer in my hand that glass would have been raised and my horns would have been up in the other hand while my head was banging in the middle whilst yelling the chorus like a loon!

Yes, new Ahola rocks. Jarkko Kalevi Ahola is also the bassist/singer for the band Terasbetoni. Tug of War is overall heavier and better than first album Stoneface (2012), which still had some damn fine songs though.

The dude can sing. I liked his vocals on the third Dreamtale CD, "Difference". Teräsbetoni are/were kinda cool too.

Best band name evah! Great album: irresistible hooks all the way through, with massive production. Reminds me at times of Urban-era Tad Morose at their catchiest.
