We start off 2008 with a killer new band that's sure to be making a lot of noise in the new year. That new band is Airbourne. A band who's sound seems to be a combination of the sounds of AC/DC and classic Guns N' Roses, Airbourne is quickly proving that sex, drugs and rock n' roll is still alive and kicking. We'll do a new music listening party for their debut release RUNNING WILD, and fiery vocalist Joel O'Keefe will call in and talk about keeping rock alive!

Speaking of rockers that have lived to keep the decedent lifestyle alive, veteran Tesla guitarist Tommy Skeoch has a long reputation as being the "wild one" in the band; so wild, in fact, that he was forced out of the band for his hard partying ways! That hasn't stopped the rocker from recording a surprisingly un-Tesla like album called FREAK BUCKET. The new album, which sounds more like Helmet or Black Flag than the band that gave you "Love Song", is sure to quickly become a favorite to CMS fans. We'll do a New Music Listening Party for FREAK BUCKET, and Tommy Skeoch will make his inaugural appearance on the CMS!

Airbourne made Hard Rock Hideout's Top 15 List of 2007. If you like AC/DC, you must check this band out! They Rock!

Airbourne are terrible. As Australian, I am embarrased that they are from here. Same with Jet.
